• Complete SIEMPELKAMP decorative paper Short-Cycle 5'x 18' press line capable of pressing (2) sheets per press load of 4' or 5' wide and 8' or 9' long. • Laminates decorative melamine onto MDF and Particle Board in a thickness range of 1/4 inch to 1.5 inches. This system can produce approx. 70 to 80 cycles per hour. Additional specifications are as follows: • Board Width: 4 to 5 feet (1,220 mm and 1,525 mm). • Board Length: 8 and 9 feet (2,440 mm and 2,745 mm). • Board Thickness: 6 mm to 38 mm. • Length of line: Approx. 117 feet. • Width of line: Approx. 37 feet. • Westinghouse PLC. • Platen dimensions: 4'-9.5" x 19'-4.375". • Heating medium: Thermal Oil. • Min./max. temperature range: 195/200° C. • Specific pressure: 28 bars. • Pressing time 18 Sec. • Lay-up time: approx. 18 Sec one side, 22 Sec for (2) sides. • General Stations include the following: * Board Infeed consisting of (1) chain conveyor, lifting table, pusher, cleaning brush with cyclone and filter; * Board station consisting of infeed roller conveyor, fork gantry and alignment device; * Paper Station consisting of paper magazine (2) levels, (2) pallets/level, suction bar gantry, each pallet to be adjusted with two chains individually motorized (Paper alignment device is dismantled but can be replaced easily); * Paper lay-up station consisting of Paper transfer station, lifting table, static charging (static charger was removed but easily replaced); * Press Area consisting of Press, infeed/outfeed carriage, hydraulic unit, thermal oil heating unit (natural gas or convert to oil), thermal oil pumping unit, piston rods renewed in 2002. Press control is upgradable to change average output from 90 loads per hour to 105 loads per hour; * Roller conveyor inspection station without edge trim; and * Stacking station consisting of Panel gantry with (2) stacking stations and outfeed conveyor. – [Ref.
