• Working length 6" - 98", width 3/4" - 7-3/4" and 1/2" - 3-1/8" material thickness. Double sided machine - left side fixed, right side with motorized travel; hydraulic "push-into-position" material feed system.

 

 Trimming and horizontal boring integrated into (1) station. The dowel driving unit is located behind the trim & boring station, both units are mounted on (1) support; workstations swivel +30° to -90° and tilt from 45° up to 15° down.

 

After finishing the trimming and boring process, this support moves in direction of the operator and the dowel driving unit moves into previous position of the boring unit.

 

Each side equipped with: Trim saw with 400 mm dia. blade, 3 HP motor with electric motor brake, up cut stroke through clamped work piece. Horizontal boring station with boring unit, (round type) rotating drill head with (3) boring spindles to receive 7/16" UNC 14 shanks on 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" centers.

 

Doweling station includes: Vibrating hopper with (2) single drop devices and (2) outlet tubes (free-standing, separate unit); insertion head on 1-1/2" centers, dowel center distance 1-1/2" - 3"; dowel driving with air impulse. Set up for 7/16" dia. x 1-3/4" long dowels and 5/8" - 1" dowel projection.

 

Glue valves controlled individually at control cabinet, central adjustment for the amount of glue by means of digital timer.

 

SPS Numerical control for positioning and function control with PC operating on DOS-based system managing (9) axes, including "swivel, tilt, depth & length".

 

Includes 15" color monitor, 3-1/2" floppy disk drive, serial & parallel interface, and keypad along with remote hand control unit. – [GD-010405]
